September 2017: Sarissa short-listed for the OBN Best Public-Private Collaboration

The OBN Awards celebrate innovation and outstanding achievement across the UK Life Sciences industry. This award celebrates a public-private collaboration that has delivered most value in the 15 months prior to the Award. Sarissa has worked with a number of NHS organisations including The Oxford Academic Health Science Network and the Newcastle Stroke Research group to establish the challenges and cost of treating stroke mimics (conditions which have identical symptoms to stroke patient but are not strokes) within stroke units. The work undertaken by the team resulted in Innovate UK signing a £2m SBRI contract to develop and test SMARTChip for paramedic use.
