Sept 2017 Sarissa Consortium wins Eu3.5m Horizon 2020 Marie Curie Innovation Training Network Award

A consortium of European Universities and SMEs have been awarded a Eu3.5m grant to investigate new biomarkers for neurological disorders. The PurinesDX-ITN project will brings together for the first time a multidisciplinary team of European research leaders to investigate purinergic signalling as a potential source of biomarkers and treatment target for the most devastating brain disorders and accompanying co-morbidities including Alzheimer’s disease (AD), epilepsy, schizophrenia, Huntington’s and depression.
